(VOV World) – “Meeting Vietnam 2013”, the 9th of these meetings, began on July 28 and will close on Saturday. Attending the event were 220 scientists from 30 countries and territories including 5 Nobel Laureates in Physics. The event is considered a golden opportunity for Vietnamese scientists to discuss their research with foreign scientists.

(VNA) – The International Centre for Inter-disciplinary Science and Education (ICISE) was officially inaugurated in Quy Nhon city, the central province of Binh Dinh on August 12. 

The centre is the result of an initiative of Meet Vietnam organisation, which was founded by Professor Tran Thanh Van, a Vietnamese scholar living in France .  Read more >>

(VOV World)- The Meeting Vietnam Association and Binh Dinh provincial leaders on Monday (8/12/2013)  inaugurated the International Centre for Interdisciplinary Science and Education (ICISE). The ICISE is a French style architectural complex at a total cost of million USD, which consists of a three-storey international convention centre covering a total area of 200,000 m2 and includes seminar and function rooms.

(TUOI TRE) – A German Nobel laureate has arrived in Vietnam to chair a nanophysics conference in a central city.

Klaus von Klitzing, awarded the Nobel Prize in Physics in 1985 “for the discovery of the quantized Hall effect,” landed in Quy Nhon City – the capital of the central province of Binh Dinh – on Sunday to attend the 9th edition of the annual Meeting Vietnam conferences. Read more >>

(SGGP) – More than 80 scientists from all corners of the globe are taking part in the 9th annual ‘Meeting Vietnam’ conference in Quy Nhon City in the central province of Binh Dinh, scheduled from July 28 to August 17.

Yesterday, scientists discussed cosmology in the Planck era, general relativity and gravitation. They will talk about the fundamentals and applications of nanophysics from August 4-10, and windows on the universe from August 11-17, when the 20 hectare International Center for Interdisciplinary Science and Education in Vietnam (ICISE) will be inaugurated.
